Saving a sweet soul

Que rollo con el pollo? Ramos is lit! This week was fun.  We had leadership conference, so I got to chill with the boys and I also got to get a nice carb load with some peter piper pizza! Which I used today to get some solid gainz in the Golds Gym here in Ramos!!

Yah so this week we like lowkey had a baptism but we weren´t able to attend the baptism…lol..long story. There is this girl named Mia and her parents live here in Ramos and what not, however, her grandparents live in Saltillo. She was going to school here in Ramos, but the school was way far away and there were some problems with transport, so she transferred to a school in Saltillo.  Well long story short my boy Elder Reed started teaching her and her cousin and her cousin Alison accepted a baptismal date, but Mia did not.  Then Mia came back to Ramos for some school vacation time and we taught her a bit and then she accepted a baptismal date! We invited her to church in Ramos, but then when we found out her cousin was going to get baptized we decided that it would be better for her to be baptized with her... so we finished teaching her everything and then she went back to Saltillo and got baptized with her cousin. We wanted to try and go to her baptism; however, it was outside of our zone, so we were unable too. It´s all good though because we still played a big part in saving this sweet soul!!!

I also had the privilege to give the priesthood to my convert Fernando!! He got baptized last week and he is really excited! Shout out to my mom for sending him the tie!!!

Much Love,
Elder Ceb

Be direct and to the point

What a goood week in MX! We out here grinding as always!! This week Fernando got baptized so that was cooool! Last Sunday during the last session of conference he showed up asking for Elder Hanning who finished his mission like a year ago... Fernando then told us that he had come to church like 3 times, and I asked him if he had been baptized and he said "No" so then I asked him why not?  He said that he hadn’t really thought about it and then he asked when the next baptism would be. I told him that we baptize every week and that he could be baptized the next Saturday and he was lowkey about it!

Then we went to his house last Monday and he started talking about some struggles in his life and also with like his work and family and what not, and then I read 2 Nephi
32:5  " For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will
show unto you all things what ye should do." Then I explained that he needed the Holy Ghost and how it would help him and he accepted a baptismal date for last Saturday. Such a dope baptism…really cool guy!

Lowkey out of time, love you all, the field is white and ready to harvest... don´t waste time just be direct and to the point...

Much love,
Elder Ceb

Missionary life is Gucci!!

Life is Gucci!  We are out here dunking! This week we dunked Jabier and his mother Dianna. They are both really great. We were eating food about two weeks ago and I asked the sister for some references, and then she told us about an inactive member. So, we went and visited the inactive lady and she introduced us to her friend and her son!

When we talked with Jabier the first time he was super hyped to get baptized, and so then we talked to his mother, and she was also super hyped to get baptized with him haha. It has been great to see some changes in them! Excited to see my boy Jabier pass the sacrament!!! He is 14 by the way.....

My boy Jose, my convert that is like they hypest Deacon, is like lowkey the best missionary in Ramos and he is only 12. I went and talked to him about some of his responsibilities as a deacon and how he needs to share to gospel and what not. So, then the next day he told me that he talked to his friends and all 4 of them want to get baptized and that the older two wanted to pass the sacrament with him! There are four brothers, 8, 9, 12, and 14 years old, they all came to church along with their parents. Their parents are really great too, however, they aren´t married so they can´t be baptized yet.  However, they are supporting their kids so that they can be baptized this week!

We went to go buy a cake at the store before our baptism on Saturday when a guy came up to us... It was cray, he was COVERED IN BLOOD LIKE ALL OVER HIS HANDS AND CHEST/BELLY....... because he works in the meat department lol ha-ha.  Anyways he asked us where the church was located and then he told us that he had been going to church for about a year but then they moved a couple of times and couldn´t find the church. He also said that his 9-year-old daughter really wanted to be baptized, however, they moved right before she got dunked.

We then went and looked for the house of the girl that wanted to get dunked, and when she saw us she started jumping up and down and gasping and well for lack of better words she was super hyped! Then we put a video of Christ’s baptism and her mother and her both started crying.  The Spirit was super strong! She is going to be baptized this week! Such a coool experience.

So much more that I would like to say, however, no time lol!

Much love,

Elder Cebollero's Homecoming

We loved hearing Elder Cebollero speak in our church about his mission and hearing his beautiful testimony.  After church, we had a taco bar...
