Still loving broccoli, flexing, and baptizing!!

Wow, I don’t think that I have ever been more tired in my whole entire life haha like rip. This week was insane, I am the only Zone leader in the Zone, and I am also District leader haha and so I did so many baptismal interviews this week.... Like on the real though, I legit did like 14 interviews this week! The Republica zone is on fire though, we are on track to beat the mission record of baptisms in a month once again, for the second month in a row, so that’s Gucci!

This week we baptized a young kid named Luis so that was cooool! He is 9 years old. Most of his family members are members, however, his father is not so he didn’t have permission to get baptized for a while. However, his dad warmed up a bit and gave him permission and then even came to his baptism!

We also baptized Citlaly this week! She is a pretty cooool girl! Her dad was baptized in Frontera like two years ago, where I started my mission.  We were talking a bit and we know a lot of the same people!

I did an interview for the sisters last week, and then at the last second, the mom got mad and wouldn’t let her daughter be baptized. So, then President had me go and do an FHE with the family and it turned out really good.  The Spirit that filled the room was out of this world haha! Sooooo coooool! Then the girl even asked me to baptize her so that was fun! After the baptism her dad gave me his watch..... I tried to say no, however, he forced me to take it. What a great guy, I’m going to hook him up with a watch one of these days! ;)

Much love,
Elder Ceb

Serving in a trio

Probably like the craziest week of my mish haha. We are grinding though, you know how it is.

My convert Jose, that I gave the priesthood to last week, passed the sacrament yesterday! He was in a full suit with a white shirt and of course a tie that the SURGEON slimmed for him!

Also, I’m in a trio now so that is HYPE, now I have 7 sons and a couple of daughters too! (Now covering both areas in Ramos)

Legit no time, until next week,

Elder Cebollero

Trusting in the Spirit

Que rollo?

What a great Sunday!!! We gave two of my converts the priesthood so that was lots of fun. I gave my boy Jose the priesthood. He is 12 years old and his family has been doing really great!  They are all super active now and they fill up like two rows at church haha! I was able to confer the priesthood to him which was a super cool experience! Pablo also got the priesthood; his son gave it to him so that was a super touching experience for everyone! We are teaching Pablo´s mom right now so hopefully he will be able to baptize her soon!

We are out here trusting in the Spirit and seeing great results. Nothing better than the help of the Holy Ghost!!! I have definitely learned how to trust and rely on him over these past couple of months. Even sometimes when it is weird, haha, like one time we were walking down the street and I saw some Catholic lady dancing in front of some huge Virgen-cita that she had painted in her garage haha and after I walked by the Spirit told me to talk to her.... I thought about it for a second and kept walking and then hurried and turned back. I talked to her and she was not very interested, however, then the Spirit told me to go back a couple weeks later and it turns out that her oldest son is a member and she has a couple of younger kids that are actually really interested!

The other day we were walking down the street and the Spirit told me that there were members that lived in one of the houses. So, I knocked the door and asked a kid if he was a member and he said no... but then he said that his older brother is, so then we put a baptismal date with the younger one that opened the door so that’s cool.

I have been helping my kid, Elder Cruz recognize the Spirit as we teach and find. Today he felt a prompting to talk to some kids in the street and they were really cool. They like ran and got their mom and she was really interested so we will probably dunk them!

Like on the real though, I really love being a trainer, it is so dope! I have only been with Elder Cruz for like 2 weeks, however, he is learning wayyy quick. We do little practice every day and I have him practice teaching members too and it has been helping him a lot!

I´m not trunky or anything haha but today we took a little American p-day haha. We hit up H&M, GNC and B-dubs!  It was dope!

Much love,
Elder Ceb

Training a new missionary again!

I have no time at all lol. This past week I received another kid (He’s straight from the MTC) so now I have 4 kids and a couple of daughters (in my zone) all together so yah my posterity is like that of Abraham.

My new kid is named Elder Cruz, just like my trainer Elder Cruz, so that’s fun. (He is from Mexico.) Things are going great, last month we had 105 baptisms in the mission and that is the new record! We had 22 baptisms in our zone which is the record for the history of the mission so that was cool!

Today we went to Costco and I bought so much fooooood hahah! I bought 2 huge bags of broccoli heehee… so that’s dope!

So much more to write, but no time, bye....

Much love,

Elder Cebollero's Homecoming

We loved hearing Elder Cebollero speak in our church about his mission and hearing his beautiful testimony.  After church, we had a taco bar...
