Que once con el doce mis hijos!
We had a really good week out here in Palau! We got some really exciting news this past week!!! Near the end of August, Elder David. A. Bednar from the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will be coming to Saltillo to talk with our mission! It is going to be the coolest experience! So excited!
We had a good Sunday here in Palau, the branch is improving, however, there is still lots of work to be done!
We have been teaching the husband of a member over the past couple of weeks. His name is Epraine and he has been to church a couple of times with us and is always really engaged in our lessons. We gave him a priesthood blessing a couple of weeks ago and he really felt the Spirt, and he wants to be able to bless his family! We have a baptism date with him for the 28th, however, he still needs time to pray about the date. We are going to work with him this week and help him keep his commitments so that he will feel ready!
We also found a really great family from Chiapas, the father of the family Miguel came to church and had a great experience, we are going to meet with him Tuesday. He honestly has a ton of potential, and we are excited to work with him. He is really humble and has the coolest accent hahah!
We also found a lady named Cloudia this week, she has been really interested and if she continues keeping her commitments and comes to church this week she will be able to be baptized this month!
We have another young adult, named Jorje, that is praying about baptism. He comes to church a lot but has never felt ready enough to take the next step. Hopefully he continues keeping his commitments so that he can be an example for his mom who has also been coming to church!
Yesterday after church, Elder Leon and I got to help one of my converts Melisa with her family tree and she was so excited. It was such a cool experience. Melisa and Celeste were baptized about three months ago, and they really want to go to the temple! It has been so cool to watch them continually progressing! Melisa was so animated when we taught her how to use familysearch.org! Today, her and her mom Juanita went to Juanita’s aunt’s house to ask her about information about their ancestors and look at some old papers to help them continue finding people to add to their family tree!

I had the opportunity to give about 5 or 6 priesthood blessings this past week, it is amazing that the Lord has blessed us with his power and authority! I am so grateful for the ability that I have to do a small part of the Lord’s work here in Palau!
I am loving the mission at the moment. I have really been able to develop a love for these people and I have never been happier! I have had the privilege to see so many miracles over these past couple of months!
I have been keeping a journal since I got to the mission (still haven’t missed a day yet haha)! However, I have been writing a lot of stuff that really doesn’t matter, so over the past two or three weeks, I have just been writing about all of the Tender Mercies from each and every day! It has really changed the way I look at life, and I’m so glad that I’m taking my Journal more seriously ahha! Now I just need to fix my handwriting so I can read the stuff that I write!
Today for p-day I did some lunges for a solid 30 min, and then I decided to take advantage of the fact that I live in a three-story house haha so I ran stairs for a solid hour! Then since it is Monday (international chest day), I hit some pushups and abs for a bit and called it a day with one of the quest protein bars my parents sent me in my last package!
Hope everyone is doing good. Thanks so much for all of the love and support!
I love hearing from all of you,
Much love,
Elder Ceb
Lowkey look like my boy Elder Atkin in these pics!! I'm high-key feeling these glasses though! What do you think? Btw..they are fake!
Helping my convert Melisa with family history last night. Such a cool experience!
